- Come out and enjoy an evening of music at the Morris Farm Market to benefit Kids First! There will also be food vendors on site. Tickets are $10 (and include entry into a raffle for a 2-night stay in Corolla!) and can be purchased at Morris Farm Market or at Clown n Around on Poindexter Street in Downtown Elizabeth City. - Camden County Sheriff's Office is sponsoring this event, which will teach parents about internet bullying and ways to keep children safe from sexual content and sexual predators while online. The use of social media such as MySpace, Facebook, and Twitter will be discussed, and there will be a period at the end of the presentation for questions.
- "The Socially Skilled Child Molester"- Presentation by Dr. Jennifer Brown (United Methodist Church, Newland, from Apr 06, 2010 07:00 PM to Apr 06, 2010 09:00 PM)
- The United Methodist Women of the Newland United Methodist Church are hosting this presentation, and have invited the general public to attend. "The Socially Skilled Child Molester" will help attendees to understand and recognize the patterns of sexual offenders, in the hopes that they will then be able to prevent such predators from infiltrating their lives.
